Nominally the station pertaining to the town of Albox but actually situated in Almanzora 4.7km distant. Mainly used for retail goods and livestock. Also lead, copper, tungsten and molybdenum from Albox, Cóbdar (11km) and Albánchez (8km). There was also a reasonable trade in whole wagons of farm animals. Converted to a halt on 5th October 1981. It opened on 11th October 1893 and on 10th October 1904 the name was changed from Almanzora to Albox-Almanzora. At some time sucsequently, it seems to have reverted to Almanzora.
Recently renovated to its original glory. As of September 2019 the station is being used as a restaurant.
